Tried to use hierarchy of importance on the shoes, and some depth and form on the city scene.

Great choices overall! The hierarchy choices come across very clear in the shoes, and I like the groupings you created for the city. I think with the city, there's still opportunity to push the line weight choices further, as the background (especially the buildings, and even the post lamp) can be lightened even more to reinforce the perception of depth, and this would make the group of people stand out with clarity in the foreground.

Pear, third attempt. Portrait, first attempt. Lost patience and gave up a little bit when i got to the shirt. Not too happy about the ear either. Gonna watch the demo and try again. Anyway, great assignment!
