I practice what I preach. So here are 6 more pics for week 2 with better line quality. Pic 6. is what I found out for my self to construct with curves and circles.

Week 2: 5min/pic After the last week I thought I found my way on sketching by power lines. Monday evening I was sitting around in my favorit bar drawing to find a way constructing the human body by circles and curves. And it worked fine. So on Tuesday I thought You got, it lets go. Then I started the challange week 2 and on pic 2. Hmm? I'm still drawing a skelleton but with curves and sometimes I block things out. So I wasn't amused in the first place. But secondly I thought hey thats my way. So right now I'm combining baselines with curves and blocks depending on the pattern. Finally I'm becoming faster and improve my line quality.

Back to school yeah! Week 1: This week only photos. Have my scanner back next week. It's real fun to see the progression of one year. Last december this was a pain in the ... . Now its like hmm.. I can improve that next time. great. :)

This course was realy great for me cause Marco showed many of the "you need all the time" - tools and workflow basics. Thank you! I tried to use my finished holidays to get my mind more free in my artistic ability's. So I started to sketch from imagination again and to put more trust in my natural feeling of shading. The picture below was one of my best results. So with that new found freedom I put together all I've learned so far and put it in that painting of Cthulhu (I read Lovecraft a lot this summer :)) in Krita. Think it works. :) PS.: no pen just mouse!

So I did Nr.6 and 12. Boxing it out is real cool. First one took 15 min, second 10min.

Wow! Thank you so much. Thank you for that exciting and lovely challange that brought me so much fun. Thank you Proko and the team for what you do. I think we have all won on experience and fun on drawing what especialy happens when you meet people who share the same interests and learn togehter what you love. I will now take some time to practise what I've learned in those days and start my first course in the new year. Congratulations to everyone!

Thank you for that wonderfull challange. I've learned so much more in that last few days about speed and precission then in years before. Sometimes it was hard but always it was fun. Thank you.
Rüdiger Weghaupt
I think I would to have to slap myself in the face if I wouldn't show what I've learned in the past few days. So I made three more skatches. Faster (10 min each), boxed out and energy lines.

Best of today. sketching 5 min workout 15min.

punching man is the best!
Merrill Hutchison
I really love the punching dude. It conveys strong energy, movement. The proportions are too long or out of place in the torso and through the neck and head to be realistic, but make a really great character design. Nice use of cross contour in the shading to describe the form. This drawing reminds me of the style used by the creator of original webcomic for One Punch Man. https://mangadex.org/title/b7d069cb-4ab9-4c21-a20b-38f7c269be4e?order=asc

The four first are really good. The fift would also be with some adjustmens. The tranparancy of thighs and torso makes it confusing. It looks more like lines than 3D form. If you make the closest leg opaque and make it clear that it is one part of the body that is in front of another part of the body it would make it look much more 3D and give more depth. The leg should also benefit of some cross contore lines to show that they ar cylindrical. Hope you find this helpful :)
