Did the CSI assignment for the four images. I'm really happy with these! Didn't get the proportions exactly correct (especially for the boots), but that wasn't my focus or the focus of the assignment anyways. Definitely gave me a different mindset when it comes to drawing and was a really helpful exercise

Hi! Started the course to work on my drawing skills- did the pear and the portrait so far. Left drawing is before the demo, right is while watching/copying the demo. I think I misunderstood part of the point of the assignment once I got to the portrait because I couldn't quite see the differences in shadow and didn't realize we could still use guidelines to help place features, so the face is super wonky. Also definitely got frustrated with it because of that lol. Planning on repeating the portrait assignment with a different image at some point to get more practice. Also these were both done with a 0.7 mm mechanical pencil- I have some better pencils I'll use in the future.
