It looks like you've got a good handle on the ideas behind the way the lines are used to imply value changes. I'd love to see that applied to a drawing where you take some time in the lay in stage.
There's a recent Proko video on proportions that might be worth checking out. The details are the most fun parts but building them up on a shaky foundation means you don't always come away with something you want to share with everyone. Stan gives several different types of measuring techniques that you can use at different times.

wow, proportions aside, i think your mark making is very clean and you can tell you tried to stay true to the direction of the lines of the original. as far as a critique goes, the only think i would recommend is try to create more variety in the marks, there are some really thick lines in the hair that are not as clear in your copies. This variety will make the overall piece have better contrast. Maybe experiment with the tools that you are using to see how to make a variety of different thicknesses of line before you begin the next mastercopy! but overall, great work, I think you captured the expression on the one on the right!

I found a few photos of chameleons and did some sloppy sketches then made my own. Actually relatively pleased with the outcome.
edit: i swear i didn’t look ahead and see that there is a chameleon drawing coming up in a couple videos… just a coincidence.

Here are mine, i think i was being too hesitant/not moving freely and confidently enough for this exercise
I caint tell looking at it. I think they look confident. especially robo girl. she was my last drawing i think we just warmed up with the first 2 , maybe .
