life got in the way so I’m starting over (wasn’t that far into the course) …replaced my sketchbook with a more manageable size (Master’s Touch Spiral Sketch Book 8.5x11) went with a 80lbs(130gsm) but plan on going back to a higher pound after this book is full.

Brilliant use of shading, I’m excited to learn more about shading so your picture is an inspiration.

These critiques are super valuable, and the submissions were great… I was debating on redoing this exercise after seeing the demo, but after seeing this and seeing further explanation on the method, I am totally going to retry this exercise.

would def like some critique or pointers on these.... for the LEVEL 2 picture I really struggled with this one....made him look like an old angry Orlando Bloom. Either way this was a great exercise that pushed me to try something I have never done before.

I am probably going to need a bigger workspace before this is over with.

Good evening everyone...I am a self taught hobbyist artist since the 90's. Over the last few years I have been craving to do something with the "talent" but know that I am lacking the fundamentals and I am excited to start this course. I typically jump between traditional and digital (ProCreate) but I plan on focusing more on the traditional side of things in this course. Traditionally I primarily use GraphGear 500 Mechanical Pencil because I love how it feels, but I do have plenty of pencils due to me experimenting

Hi @David Hilton I know this is an old post but I just wanted to say that I liked your scribbles, especially the Batman there in the corner. I'm a hobbyist too and I'm totally lacking fundamentals. Hope to see more of your work!
