This was a harder assignment then I thought it would be. Any feedback is appreciated.

Hi @dana_o, I found this exercise difficult too. But you've done a great job! Very nice simplifications, especially the antelope! - In the bear and the anelope it would have been nice if the muzzle and cranium were distinguished as two separate forms. Maybe a box for the cranium and a tapering box for the muzzle. - Remember to curve the cylinder crosscontours around the edges, as described in the lesson video at 07:56 Structure Basics – Making Things Look 3D. I would recommend practicing drawing a bunch of cylinders from different angles. Drawing through the forms helps. Make sure that the ellipse is the proper shape and that it's perpendicular to the length of the cylinder. To understand more intuitively, the need for wrapping ellipse crosscontours around the form I think you would appreciate reading this critique https://www.proko.com/s/7Q8k Hope this helps :) Keep up the good work!

My bean submission. Any feedback is welcome.

I think they look great. The only thing I can see is that maybe some of the overlapping lines need to be a little darker to emphasise which mass is in front more.

Hello, these are some of my gesture drawings I've done so far. Any feedback is welcome.

Good gestures. We can tell the pose by looking at it which is the goal of the quick sketches. To improve things try focusing on gesture. You seem to be focusing on the contour(border of the pose). Force yourself to draw to draw in long minimum lines. This is hard at the beginning . do not worry . it comes with practice . some drawovers to help :

Lots of good stuff in there! Proportions are in the ball-park, lots of different poses, you're not afraid to represent the hands or feet. I love the lines on the head where you draw "inside" the shapes. If you have more time, you might try drawing "inside" the shapes of the torso and hips (drawing "rubber band" lines around the shape. If you're short on time, you might try capturing bolder gesture lines and representing the "body" as simpler shapes like cylinders. Keep going!
