Good shape exploration. Your shapes still have a round and soft feeling to them. For an experiment, I'd suggest trying to use sharp edges and shapes such as triangles and see if you can still maintain the essence of the dog.

Level 1 attempt - threw in a monkey and a baboon (i think). Not really happy with the hippo but i think the rest are fun looking.

I did the study on Karl Kopinski. I found it very challenging as a beginner and took several starts and stops because I kept getting discouraged when everything kept coming out wonky. I finally finished it when I reminded myself that this was a study on his line work. Also as a novice I found it hard to understand why he chose some of his lines. In any case, I'm glad I got the study done.

Great work! It's great that you found it challenging because that means you are thinking about it and learning from it. Keep doing more master studies even if you find them challenging!
