I think you simplified the shape of the pear rather well, but the values become too dark too quickly. It's mostly the middle value that is too dark, as its level of darkness is very close to the shadow groups when it should instead be halfway between light and dark. Try lightening it a bit, and it will also help to introduce more of the 2nd lightest value, as this value also represents a large majority of the light side. Usually only the very lightest value will be reserved to small spots of highlight, like in this pear. Hope this helps!
