Hi, I found this drawing "Study for Mucius Scaevola Before Porsenna by Charles Le Brun" on website https://finearttutorials.com/guide/famous-drawings/ The light appears from top left on the upper body. But why is the right side of the torso in the shadow? there is no obstacle. I combined lines with different thicknesses and values, as in the demo.

i adjusted the neck line and te ankle

Second rhino has light from the leftside of the body, so i let the lines that fall in the light with less weight.

Difficult exercise, especially when trying to draw divas :)

These drawings are fun! Your shapes are looking very nice. My only critique might be about the line quality. Try using fewer marks. This will give your drawing more clarity and energy.

Big improvement between the first and second portrait! Your shading is looking smoother as well. Nice work!

I enjoyed the exercise and the result as well :)
