Hopefully this isn't a dumb question, but I am currently watching the painting in color with blending modes lesson. I was just curious when he is blocking in the occlusion shadows with a multiply layer why that is more efficient than just painting in the shadows on a layer in normal mode. I get using the blending modes when the values have already been established, but why use the multiply blending mode from scratch?

I don't understand what inverse is doing

I am having the same problem, but I haven't been able to download any of the files that I paid for at all. It says daily download limit reached, but I haven't been able to download anything
