Ok, i've been posting my work in the comments section. Is there an assignment section that I'm missing? If there is, it's playing hide and seek on my screen and I have no idea where to find the link.

I had a heck of a time just sticking to 5 values. The way Stan grabs the lightest of the two dark values seems easy, but I found it took a whole different level of thought.
Oh wow. I love how he got stylized. It's obviously the same person and it looks like you really took your time in trying to capture the details, but he took on such a fun, artistic quality. lovely interpretation.

Did the exercise but didn't take the opportunity to print. I looked at the pear image on my screen. Lesson learned. My values, especially at the bottom of the pear were too dark and I didn't pick up the third value in the large shadow to the left. :-( Really enjoyed the exercise, however.
