Nice work. Something to consider is perhaps selectively using darker drawing materials to create pop, or focus.

Good block in. Remember that there are different value planes on the shadows as well. THe shadow on the nose and the shadow under the nose are falling on planes that face different directions and so they can carry different values.

Beautiful job! Like Kevin said, I also really appreciate the way you did your core shadow. It blends with the form light nicely. Only suggestion I would give is to go darker with the rest of your form shadow. Your LIGHTEST darks (Form Shadow) should be darker than your DARKEST lights (Form Light). Your work will look even more realistic. Great drawing!

I love the rendering of the core shadows! Very soft and describes the form so well.

Hey Areeb, really nice study. I agree with @Luigi Manese, that's pretty much the only thing I'd say too.
Luigi Manese
Hi @areeb, this is a great study. You have a very good grasp on the form and construction of the head, good shape design, and I love your handling of the material. The only critique I could think of would be in regards to likeness. I attached a very brief paint over that I did where I ever so slightly lengthened your drawing horizontally, and I narrowed the model's eyes a bit. The model's features are almost lizard like (I hope this doesn't come to offend the model in any way), and so I made slight adjustments to kind of caricaturize her in that way. However, you can take this advice with a grain of salt because I think your image stands very well on its own. I hope this helps!
