is it just female references?

How do you strike the balance between simplicity and complexity when it comes to character designs in animation? I guess it depends, but is there any rule of thumb that you try to use?

Do you have a certain methodology with how you place your mixed paints on your pallet?

When do you think you are most creative/productive? For both doing art and other work, how often do you take breaks? Do you maintain a structured workflow (something like pomodoro) or just go by feel?

That was so much fun haha. Even though I didn't manage to follow along during the livestream. Drawing the reference with Stephen's voice in the background and soaking up his wisdom was quite relaxing and very zen. Looking at what I have now, it seems like I messed up the placement of the lips and angle of the nose...among many other things, oops!
