Asked for help
Good morning, Although I feel I need to enjoy working with lines more and its fun, I lost track of where I place of where I've posted. So I'm posting my first study of Dave Malan. I wasn't quite sure why he was using darker, softer, thicker or thinner lines. But as I drew it I tried to understand why he chose them. Any feedback as to why to help me understand would be appreciated. I thought the darker and thicker areas he wanted more attention to and the lighter less emphasis and more carefree lightness. As I was drawing I couldn't help but think he was in the moment of drawing passion. Challenging to emualte.

I'm not sure if I posted this in another lesson, but here's my try at hiearchy, Depth, and light and shadow.

I noticed that many people attempted the skull. Is there a download of the school or do I have to search for one?

I tried to help another student and made this my line weight project, but then much more became involved with perspective, which I have some experience with. Left to right 2nd try, 1st, and reference photo. I was trying to figure out the legs in perspective and I know we have got there, but which do you think works better for the legs? Left or Middle? Feedback welcome

I can't figure out what's wrong about the drawing that make me feel like the person isn't turning its torso! Thank in advance for the comments
Hi Yves, I gave it a shot. I emphasised with some line width and darker lines where I think the issue is on the torso alon with the perspective try with the legs. You're picture inspired me. Now that I think about it not sure if the perspective in legs is quite right and my head is alittle off. I think I got the angle of his shoulders. I saw that right away in yours.

Good morning my second attempt after watching video is on the right side, but now that I look at it I think I like my first attempt on the left better. Feedback welcome
