Here are my first attempts at studies.
I have a doubt about how to approach studies in which the masters have used a looser/searching style: should I be quick as if it were a loose sketch ( imitating the artist's process) or take my time measuring making sure the lines are precise ?

You just want to get an idea of the artist’s thought process when you’re studying.
To get a better understanding of how they may have done it so that you can carry that with you into your future works.
It seems like you got exactly what you needed to from these little studies. Wonderful work! I like the looseness of the lines.

I am not sure if I am doing the strokes correctly.

It took me a while to complete some drawing but hopefully I correclty did the task.
I also tried a project following the same procedure I think I'll make more like this.

Hi everyone, Here are my first attempts on pears and the face. I had more difficulty identifying the shadow shapes and drawing the values. I will then try to see the demo and hopefully improve. Thank you for any kind of feedback!
