added comment inHow to Draw Gesture – Step by Step
Asked for help
This is my first day of practicing some gesture drawing! I definitely ended up trying to draw some more than I probably should have if I'm focusing on the gesture alone. I guess something is better than nothing right! I really struggled with getting proportions correctly but definitely day 1 work. Should I post each days gesture practice?

hey maxcell i think that for your first attempt on drawing gesture.
You did well, try to not draw the body as a square i completly cancel the dynamism and make your drawing stiff, from your drawing the best one its the first one of Mallory 022 take that as example for your next drawing´s.
try to simplify the form and not draw the countour.
PS: try to draw from your shoulder to draw better lines.

right now im trying to learn how to get the gesture correctly to impruve my drawings
i make this quick gesture drawing with 30seg poses i want another opinon of them and how can impruve.
Today I did a small automatic drawing practice and as Tim Gula says not only helps us relax as if we were meditating but also helps us with the famous artistic blocks that bother us, and lets our creativity flow like a river

Here are some gesture practices i did for this lesson! Critics and suggestions are welcome :D Reference photos are from pinterest
i really think you do it great, and in the last one the one of the girl the legs look to shot but i think its because you dont have the time to complete the line of the division of the legs.
great job
