Here is my submission. Things started out really slow for me (felt like I was going too slowly for gesture drawings), but they started going faster towards the end (hopefully not negatively impacting my work, though).

I normally work on the level one stuff, but I decided to try my hand at level two. Left side is from a quick glance at a reference, right side is from imagination.

Here’s my level one assignment. The blue pencil page was some additional practice (playing around) that I did.

Finally got a moment to get this done (though I would have liked to add more cylinders). This is for level one and was done before watching the demo.

Guys... I give up.... I am not even able to draw the ellipse correctly inside/within (??) the square. And the second ellipse does not change in perspective... ?!?!

If you are like me and the major axis gives you major headaches: don't worry.
Scott Robertson in his book describes how the minor axis is key to place the ellipse successfully in perspective.
Nevertheless: I made a little animation to make it easier to observe what is happening with the major axis. You can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/R4XWJ1ct1gI

There really should be a link to the store page or info about where to order the sketchbook in the video description section.
