Stylized Self-Portraits ft. SLEW (REACTION)

Oi, Mate! Love all the drawings!

@SLEW Thank you so much! Im grateful that you enjoyed my self-portrait and honored that you chose it from such a strong field! Honestly, it wouldn't have been my choice! 🤣 To clear up a few things, yes, I did pose with bacon on my face for some reference photos...mainly for composition, textures and values. I do one self portrait a year as a way of journaling progress artistically, physically and emotionally. I had been losing weight at the beginning of the year and then I gained it all back and I was very unhappy about it. The bacon is literally and figuratively smothering me. This piece is large and heavy, being on wood, and is also in a custom blackened steel frame with a slight lip reminiscent of a cast iron skillet. 🍳 Thank you, again, and congratulations to everyone! Ps. I still ate the bacon after I used it for a prop... because bacon is effin delicious.
