I’m picking this is after having 5-6 days away from painting as its the holidays. Having that much time away i got a tad lost in the process. Slightly lost, but nonetheless having fun, just playing and learning the paint. I’m gonna repeat the whole process again at some point. I feel myself doing a little too much, trying to perfect things as i go. I started getting a little frustrated and felt i could go on and on correcting/measuring. Yesterdays efforts.

Any advise would help. I feel like my colours are still blocky and edges too soft. What can I do to improve

Very good! I can feel your work in this. It's like you are trying to tame a wild pony and you are almost there. At this point, go back and double check all your little shapes around the eyes nose and lips. More modeling is not what is going to take this further. It's more attention to specific areas that you need to spot little inaccurate differences. You are close.I talk about edges a lot in the demo. Make sure to pay attention to the hairline edges better.
