Hello! I guess the best place to learn how to draw the loomis head is from the book itself or just watch Stan's videos on youtube. Sorry if that's not the most useful answer in the world but i honestly feel like they are better teachers than me :DD

It’s very well done. Perhaps some of the design elements around the neck detract from the face a bit and you could play with some variation in the edges to direct the viewer’s focus to what aspect you want to showcase. Some edges may be kept sharp others softened or lost. These are aspects of design though and subject to taste. You may also want to consider head placement on the canvas , is the head to large for the space of could it be better composed.

The main thing that stands out to me is the tonal variation in the skin shadows everywhere but the nose, which is just red. And I feel like a little light reflecting off of the eyelashes on the dark side of the face would add some extra depth. That being said, this is amazing! Good job.

@Marco Fornaciari I love it! Superb work with edges and textures, beautiful colors, strong structure. I really don’t see anything I’d change in it. Awesome job!

Love it! I have only one minor point. For me, her lips looks to sharp for me. I'm looking forward for new pieces from you. May I ask which program you used?

Thanks so much! Also thanks for the feedback, really appreciated. I use PS 99% of the time, tried CSP in the past but it's not my favourite.

I think this is so beautiful the way it is. But if my arm got twisted I'd say you might try adding a small glint of that lavender/pink in the background into the light part of her Irises, the same value, I mean. You could try it and see? It looks awesome to me!

I really like this portrait and the active feeling you created with different textures. Something that jumps out at me is the neck and the hair kind of blend together. Maybe play around with making the two a bit more distinct? Also, there is a lot of blue so adding a very small but bright highlight of yellow somewhere around the eyes might be interesting. All that being said, it's great as is no changes necessary but those are a couple ideas to think about. What's your process in creating portraits do you go straight in with paint or draw the shapes first with lines?

It's really good!I can see the structure of the cheek by that little highlight you added there.(Also like the little purple color notes in the shadow).I don't think I have much to change, the edges are pretty good, though i guess if you have to twist my arm,I recommend making the upper lips slightly darker than the lower one.I'll also recommend making the side of the eyes softer, alongside the left side of the face (the face one could be done by making the shadow value and background value closer) just because that part seem to slightly take too much attention. But most of these are very minor and could be subjective,so yeah, really solid job all around

Thanks so much for the feedback! I'll try some of those changes later today!
