Nice job, @Ruth Salmun! @Bradwynn Jones made really great points on his comment! One extra thing I'm noticing is that the space between the eyes and the brows looks wider in your drawing than on the reference, which changes a bit his expression - maybe that's part of what you feel isn't "quite there yet". Hope this helps!

Hi Ruth. I'm new to Prokolab as an instructor and still getting to know the site. Forgive me if I do something odd here. I like your drawings and you are progressing really well! I hope you don't mind that I edited your post in photoshop to show 2 things you can do to quickly make improvement on the drawing. I'm more visual and personally like when my instructors draw on top of my sketches to show me how to improve. You did perfect on getting the head tilt and eye lined up. Looks like angle of nose is off a bit. Second the corner of mouth is too low. Tiny fixes that get you there fast. Great work and let me know if this kind of critique is useful. I'm learning too lol
Wow, thanks a lot, I don’t mind at all, this helps, I notice is very small details but it does help a lot, I'm gonna take note of this for the next drawing.
