This looks pretty good, except the shadow on the side of the pear, and the shadow on the ground plane should be the same value. If you squint down with your eyes, you will see that all the shadows will merge together.
Ok, do you mean the very edge of the pear where it would be the darkest? or the whole side shadow of the pear and the shadow on the ground? I am reviewing proko's demo of the pear, and he identifies edges within the shadow that are darker, but I am having trouble identifying them myself
