Favourite Digital software?

Hello!
Just wondering what other people like to use for digital art.
Do you guys have a specific software you use or do you jump back and forth depending of the situation?
I use Procreate for the iPad and I love it (although it does have its quirks)!
But now that I'm more "experienced" (?) or confident with digital art, I feel like exploring other options.
Anyway, happy Proko 2.0!
Cheers!
I started with Krita, then I tried Photoshop and Clip Studio Paint for a few days. I decided very fast that Clip Studio Paint is my program, because to me it was intuitive. Also at that point I thought I would only do some backgrounds and touch ups digitally and the price model of CSP was great for me.
Well, now I nearly only draw digitally and I still love Clip Studio Paint. It feels complex but intuitiv and I can learn all features step by step.
The only very frustrating point to me as a beginner artist is, that sooo many online courses reference to Photoshop. Of course there are many tutorials about CSP, but whenever I see a pro draw digitally they mostly explain for Photoshop, some do Procreate.
I prefer using Clip Paint Studio, but when it comes to sketches its Charcoal(free app that uses basic tools) or Procreate on the iPad.
I started in Krita because it was free... that was my way of determining if digital was for me. I had done traditional for many years, so I wanted a free option to experiment. I use Photoshop now simply because I am very familiar with the program. It is a little buggy and not really intended as a 'painting' software, but if you work with brush settings you can get very nice painterly work. I have considered ArtRage, so I would be interested in hearing opinions of that software, especially how it compares to Photoshop.
I use Clip Studio Paint on iPad. I have Procreate, but I find Clip Studio gives me more options and stuff. It feels like a desktop level app on a tablet. ‘Course, one of its con is that it’s subscription based if you’re using it on a tablet, but its Windows and Mac versions are one-time payment at least
Adobe Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, Fresco is pretty useful as well. I also utilize Corel Painter and sometimes AutoDesk Sketchbook Pro.
Great topic :) I primarily use Procreate and ArtSet on my iPad however I am downloading Infinite Painter as we speak!

I use photoshop, but procreates brushes definitely feel better! Also a fun watercolor emulator program you could try is Rebelle. It's really fun. (Here's the website for it) https://www.escapemotions.com/products/rebelle/about?//products/rebelle/index.php
Hi there! I use a program called ArtRage 6. When I got my first Wacom Intuos as a kid, a free download for ArtRage 3 came with it, and it was the first digital painting software I learned to use. And because I've been using ArtRage ever since I first started, using all the features is like second nature to me. I've tried various free programs like MediBang and FireAlpaca, but I wasn't too thrilled about them(I have a friend who absolutely loves MediBang though, and since its free, you should give it a try). I haven't bothered actually paying for any other painting programs, but I'd love to give Photoshop a go at some point.
If anyone is just starting out with digital art, a good free software to get your feet in the water would be Autodesk Sketchbook. It is lightweight and simple to use.
edit: it comes in android, IOS and PC
I've used Photoshop since I was 12, so it's hard for me to switch at this point, but I do break out PaintStorm Studio every once in awhile. It's kinda like a less buggy Corel Painter, although it's still in it's infancy, so it has some quirks of it's own.
Hey! I use Procreate as well and while I feel like I definitely need to improve on my skills with it, I really like it. I feel like I'll eventually find something that another app does better for me but for now I'm liking it a lot.
Clip Studio paint is a great one. I still use procreate but slowly Im getting a hand of it of Clip. It has alot of helpful features that other softwares dont have!!
I draw with a custom desktop PC setup and a Huion display tablet. My favorite program is Clip Studio Paint. I'll attach a screenshot of my layout. I've never tried an ipad + Procreate combo but I really want to in the future. It looks fantastic for portraits.
i usually draw in PC, so i feel comfortable with Krita and Fire Alpaca, a lot of my friends are into Clip Paint Studio, because they only had to pay once, but it has really cool features, like perspective and animation tools
Procreate is what I am using on the iPad, though I'd like to try out other programs. I used to use Photoshop and a Wacom tablet when I first started drawing digitally.
