Hey there! Welcome to the course :) It seems like you are already making good progress. I would just caution to watch for the proportions across the figure if realism is your aim, as the top half seems larger than the bottom half, so just some tweaks with the transform tool would do. It's also good that you are placing in a lighter value in the background to make the figure more visible, creating contrast through value difference. This principle could further be applied by using the shadows on the man to make his figure more visible without needing to rely as much on linework, as you continue to develop this piece. honestly, i really love this piece, might be not detailed, but it has a lot of expression and potential; the anatomy looks fine and i really like the style that you used for the Line art. Keep it up :)
