Asked for help
Good Morning. My name is Yvann and I recently finished this print set for a concept surrounding Cyclops. I wanted to know if anyone would be able to provide any feedback and criticism on it. Specifically on these 3 topics: 1) Lighting and shadow shapes 2) Improvements in Composition 3) Anything you feel might improve the piece or the set Thank you in advance, Yvann

Good work, @Yvann Cerisier! On the floor, you're not following halfway-to-black, though. Give your floor some thickness, basically turning the flat floor plane into a box. Then shade the shadow side of that "floor box". The value of that shadow is the same as the cast shadow on the floor that is created by the worm.

I am familiar with Drawabox so I decided to try a HW Assignment I have struggled with in the past. Still hard for me but totally worth it.

I Jumped the gun on the first one and spent a bit too long on it.

I really loved how this had me recall on my anatomy knowledge.

I chose one of my favorite movies for this assignment

This was a difficult one for since I had to change my shading process. Still loved it though.

You did a great job, Yvann. I would add a bit more transition between the dark halftones and the centre light - it would make your creature's head look more rounded/spherical.

The details for the texture of the egg was hard but ultimately I loved the process.
