My work for this Proko challenge. This is my brief interpretation of An Encounter King Solomon had with Asmodeus in the book called the Testament of Solomon. It's a pseudepigraphical composite text( Falsely attributed works who claimed the author is not the true author), it is not part of the mainstream bible. The original texts are just about Solomon interrogating all sorts of demons, and I choose to make art about the encounter with Asmodeus. The encounter was a lot more detailed than this but I had to shorten it.
I do not practice comics at all but I wanted to try, and I would also love a critique from James and anyone.
Also some of the text might be a bit cryptic but that's intentional because I wanted to give it a more scriptural vibe.

Hi, I’m a student , who’s trying to eventually work as a character concept artist/illustrator one day, I would really appreciate any feedback about my work. The works are some of the original character concepts I have done. Majority of these are more or less the final concept I arrived at, I would have put some of the sketches I did for them but there’s only so much space. Thanks for your time.
Hi xenon! Thanks for sharing your unique ideas with us. You have some interesting designs and effectively set them in an intriguing tone/atmosphere. Now, where I'd like to see you push your current skill set is anatomy. You can convincingly render parts of the anatomy to be recognizable and dimensional, however, I'm observing some issues with your characters' bodies that fall outside of stylization or intentional malformation. Overall, the different parts of the body don't all work together or feel proportionally cohesive in relation to each other. Though it may not be as fun as expressing cool new idea, I suggestion you take some time to practice plenty of gestures, figure drawing, and analyze the basic human anatomy, part by part to gain an understanding of how all of the bones, muscles, joints, etc. work in unison underneath the skin. If you can level up in this regard it will take the quality of your work and your ability to explore unusual character designs in a successful manner to amazing heights. Good luck!

He can control the temperature of his blood by freezing or heating it up to any extent and use it as a weapon or a way or surviving harsh climates, His name his blood Tyrant.
I like the character design! His powers remind me of a quirk of Vlad King in My Hero Academia who can also manipulate his blood into freezing. As a constructive critique, I have to admit I had to read your description to see what your character's powers are - I can't see it clearly from the illustration itself. I like the painterly digital brushstrokes but I believe they might be obscuring the details of how he is manipulating his blood into freezing. I think these details need to be made clearer. Perhaps adding a blue element might help as it is commonly associated with cold temperatures and it would help provide contrast to your picture as well.
I hope this helps and good luck!

Hi Xenon, fun sketches. If you haven't tried it yet, I think you could spend some time writing out ideas to help guide the direction of your designs. These drawings are cool but feel a little random, and might benefit from you thoughtfully guiding the direction of your designs more. I see you have the note 'Pumpkin Head', but is there more to that story? Were they created by a mad scientist? Are they ghosts and ghouls that haunt a location? Do they guard something? Spending time the time to ask yourself questions about what you're designing and consciously explore ideas really helps you make decisions with intention behind them, which is what designing is all about!
