I think I was too focused on detail and proportions in the last set. This was fun.

Level 1 snail and boots. Compared to the last lesson I felt I needed to work on my proportions. I think my accuracy has gotten better. I never considered how lines could "feel". By paying extra attention to the straights against the curves I noticed the contrast between hard and soft textures.

My portraits before and after the demo. Having a tendency to render the heck out of portraits, I struggled to simplify the shapes and values on this assignment. It does make for a much clearer read. My proportions are off though. Hahaha. Fun assignment.
