First 10 gesture drawing I did after watching the "How to Draw Gesture - Step by Step". I think I'll need to re-watch the lesson multiple times. Any feedback would be appreciated.

2021/12/8. Good morning everybody. Here's my assignment. I changed the gesture of the original reference (the #d model) especially in the area of the little finger and ring finger (with the little finger extremely bent). You can get an idea of what I was trying to draw looking at the picture I took of my right hand even dough the angle is a little bit different (taking a pic of your own R hand with your L hand is harder than I thought ToT). And of course the icon on the R side shows the light origin. After finished it I noticed that the first joint of the thumb is too thin. Thanks.
I think it's nice. Very chalanging perspective. I think the thumb is a bit too small. What do You think?

@Chris Bodary, @johnercek, @Samuel Eli, sorry for not getting back to you earlier (the drawing has kept me busy!). I really appreciated your comments!
Here's some more work in progress: the figure brought into perspective and the 2 value notan. Do you think the notan reads?
Cheers!
Hi,it's nieko! Maybe the right glutes should cover more of tailbone? Just gessing, because You are way better than me in drawing! Could You give some feedback on mine work? Would be very gratefull...

I like these drawings! They are strong in atmoshpere and mood!
- I think the thing that would improve these the most would be to work on shading, especially value control. Dorian Iten has a course The Shading Course – Fundamentals of Realism, Light & Shadow that is perfect for that. (Proko has a 15% christmas discount, that you can read more about here https://www.proko.com/12days. If you can't afford buying the course Dorian offers a monthly subscription on his website https://www.theshadingcourse.com)
You'll learn everything you need in his course, but to give you a quick overview:
The placement of light and dark tones (values) in your drawings could be done differently, to better show the form, and make the subject easier to read.
Hope this helps :)

Hi @Inga Ulinskaitė, nice figure drawings! Could you specify what you're seeking critique for. Is it gesture? Construction? Anatomy? Shading? Or all 4?
I'll try to look for things to improve on:
The overall gesture is really nice! In the left drawing I might have redesigned the contours to show to flow better. Put simply, if the gesture is a c-curve, you could bend the contours in a c-curve arc. you could also think of the gesture as a stream of water that the contours should push side to side to keep it flowing; one curve is followed by another curve.
I think you would appreciate watching Mike Mattesi's force drawing series. Improving Line Quality and Rhythm – FORCE Series Part 1 Drawing Gestural Forms – FORCE Series Part 2 How to Draw Dynamic Shapes – FORCE Series Part 3
In the drawing to the right I might have indicated a plane change at the toes, to feel how they are being pushed against the ground. Curving the contours of the foot could help with this.
Overall I think you would benefit from using fewer lines: What details are necessary? Where do I put curves? straghts? Can I design the lines to better show the gesture and form?
Hope this helps :) Keep up the good work!
