I learned so much from this lesson! This was so much fun. I tried to paint a different light source and different colours to apply the lesson rather than copy the result. Was this successful? Is the light source correct? Do the colours retain harmony? Any and all feedback appreciated.

I think the colours still retain harmony, but maybe they could be pushed a tad further, using the hard light method he described!

I tried to be quick with this and treat it like a study or a practice. I usually spend way too long on details and end up with too much information everywhere. This was my attempt to focus my details and direct the viewers gaze. Does this balance ambiguity v. information? Does it read clearly? Is it okay?
Thank you!

2022/5/10. Good morning everybody. Here’s my warming up exercise for today. Do you think the legs are too short? Thanks.
Looks great! I think the legs seem mis-proportioned (they are actually correct) because the knee on the top is slightly too narrow. If the knee was ever so slightly larger you'd create some foreshortening that would make that knee seem like the closest portion of her body to the camera, which would correct the feeling that the legs are too short.
