Anyone have any advice on doing tapered strokes digitally? I’m using procreate and finding that all my strokes start light and stay thicker until the end. I can’t just get the middle thicker and the end light. Any suggestions? Thanks

heu!
i'm doing the class on procreate and i'm using "dry ink" brush for my pencil like render: size 2% opacity 38% and it has a taper and it feels pretty nice. i also put a bellemond Paper like screen protector on it to have the feeling of drawing on paper....

you need to check if your brush has pressure sensitivity as well as your stylus (if you are not using apple pencil), you may also want to check your pressure and smoothing setting, maybe something there is messing with your taper

My attempts at this assignment. I like to keep things as simple as possible. I hope these can help some students out there.

My snail drawing for CSI found this one quiet hard due to the shape and curves of the snail, had to redraw the curves a few times. Still don't think the curves are exact but overall not bad I think. Any help appreciated.

First attempt at still life and values, I'm an absolute beginner and honestly struggling to visualise what I need to do. Can anyone give me some tips or pointers? Thanks
My second attempt having trouble keeping a value all the same value, don’t know if this is because of my shading technique
