What is a part of your process that departs from the usual, and most painters would be surprised to hear, if any?

Greetings from Australia! What is part of your process that other painters might find surprising, if any?

Leaving a test comment for Proko. Question was: What part of your usual process might be considered unconventional or unexpected to other painters, if any?

How indept do you think we need to know about anatomy to draw or paint the human body? Do I need to learn to draw or can I just go into painting the human figure with a basic understanding of drawing?
How in-depth? He mentioned this earlier, you might have some luck going back about 20 minutes!

hello Stephen, my question is would it be bad to dive into color or a painting class before fully grasping shading with pencil?
Jump in to what you love! Proko has some great free YouTube videos on shading and value and how to apply that knowledge to your work. They can be very different processes, pencil vs painting, hopefully your class will cover the importance of colour values and you can instead apply that value knowledge to your pencil work :)
What is the difference between warm color and cool color and how does make it a difference in the picture that you are drawing?
There is a wealth of information online about this if you're interested. Here's one starting point from Google: https://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/color-overview/color-insights/warm-and-cool-colors
