Here is my drawing for the foot construction exercise. Starting with the gesture makes it less intimidating to draw body parts at an angle, such as this foot. I’m really beginning to get used to seeing shapes and forms in 3D now. It is making a huge difference in my art overall.

My drawing and notes from the 2nd part of the hand construction lesson.

Here are my notes from this exercise. Using the same method of drawing in shapes to create the form of the hand made it simpler for me to understand. The guidance and advice throughout the video was very helpful.

Here are my notes and drawing from this lesson. Using shape construction to help depict the anatomy of the figure makes so much sense. Especially for a pose such as this one that has a little perspective to it.

Here are my notes and drawing for this lesson. Drawing the right leg in squares instead of cylinders at the end made it look even more 3 dimensional. Comparing it to the left leg, there is a huge difference here. It’s fascinating how much different approaches can change the figure drawing.

Here are the drawings from this lesson. Starting from the gesture, then building up the figures by using shapes has been so helpful in my practice so far. The steps in the whole process make it less overwhelming. Developing my anatomy will only become easier over time, the more I try this method.

My attempt at the side perspective was a little more difficult then the first. I think my proportions are still a little off. I decided to include the lines to be of assistance here. I also used colored pencils to help separate the cylinders and lines from the pencil marks I made in the beginning.

This assignment was helpful for furthering my understanding of how figures are able to look more 3D when drawn in shapes. I will continue to practice this, I had fun in my attempt here.

Here is my first attempt at the Proportions and Landmarks exercise. I will try to fit it in with my other regular drawing practices from now on. I can already notice what I need to improve on. I think I could have made the rib cage bigger to fit better within the boxes. I used a ruler to make the guidelines across the page. I had a bit of difficulty making them as accurate as I could. Overall that, I’m satisfied with my attempt on the assignment.

Nice work
@reina1999
here are the exercises for this assignment. I did all of my work in pen so I wouldn’t be tempted to erase any mistakes. Instead, learn from them and keep note on what I need to improve on as I continue to practice drawing the different shapes
