Hi there! This is the first time I've ever entered an art competition so a bit nervous to share my work, but here goes! I noticed that the challenge called for storytelling, so I thought this might be a really good opportunity to create a set of works with a consistent colour palette. All of these reference photos are from different days my partner and I went to our favourite beaches. I wanted to try and use colour to capture the joy and inspiration from those places. I loved watching the gouache demo and this challenge really inspired me to get back into gouache, so thank you for posting!
