I was just watching Color Mixing with Marco Bucci on Youtube. Great video, bought his book and colour mixing class on the strength of it. However, at one point he attempts to explain the differences in colour mixing in real life with actual paint vs. the same thing digitally. He explains that Adobe's Photoshop (which he and most professionals use and can afford) can't simulate real paint mixing whereas others (he gave Rebelle as an example, but I know Corel Painter can as well) could. I can't afford the familiarity with Adobe products that the professionals can and prefer to use Rebelle and Corel Painter. As Marco said: they are different. They are cheaper, they do watercolor and they are not owned by an (allegedly) evil empire wanting to steal images to train the AI that seeks to replace artists. How about a few less Adobe centric courses?

I've bought more than a few courses and follow a few I don't own. By looking at "My Classroom" I certainly can't tell which is which. I don't know if a distinguishing mark was ever a feature in the past, but it certainly would be a good idea in the future.

Ye it used to be lol. i think they mainly had it because back then you could delete any course from the classroom, including the ones you bought, but now you can't so it makes sense why they changed it. ~ was still nice to visually see which ones I owned and which ones I didn't, but I'm not complaining lol, just nit-picking

For those that are curious I've tried these on my iPad Pro with Apple Pencil Pro. Photoshop works to some extent, but no rotation, however, Fresco is happy to take advantage of rotation. Note that rotation (barrel roll) is not enabled by default and needs one to delve into brush settings. For those of us who prefer the iPad to the Mac, it would be hugely useful to have a list of the names of those brushes that should have rotation enabled...

What happened to Cheat-Sheet 2?

Comparing "Loomis Method Real Time Demo" to "3D Model: The Loomis Head" there would seem to be a difference. In the demo the a line goes from chin to the centre of the ear plane, whereas in the 3D model the same line goes to the end of the brow line. Is this a choice, is one preferred?

I thought someone answered this elsewhere but the 3D model is showing a side plane of the jaw (see Quickly Draw Heads with the Loomis Method – Part 1 2:48) The drawing on the right shows the cheekbone. Stan uses it in 11:22 of that same video. Choose whichever one is best suited to the reference.

THis is a very good point and its a noticeably different curve. Your drawing to me looks and feels more correct. The 3D model should be updated to reflect this to cause less confusion.

I also immediately noticed this. Is the one from 3d model more correct?

Dear Nigel, I think this is a Reilly rythm used in the loomis method. Imagine the face as a plate that stems from the cranial mass, the rythm you notice that turns towards the ear plane actually suggests the division of planes on the face. For more reference youtube Reilly method for the face.
