added comment inBean Examples – Tilt, Lean, Twist and Foreshortening
Im probably going to be posting these for a while here. While I feel I can do most of my bean shapes relatively easy, I do struggle a lot doing my twisting drawings -Actually Im not even sure if they are readable enough- If you have any feedback, it will be greatly appreciated~
Your sketches do look good but the issue I have is the gesture is a bit hard to read. It is not very clear on some of your doodles which direction the torso is bending and/or twisting. I would suggest to do more simplification excersizes? If you have the figure drawing fundamentals course, then maybe re watch the gesture lessons. Mike Mattesi FORCE book series is quite excellent too (If you are into gesture drawing, he is a treat to read) Anyhow, I hope it helps~
Thank you! I will definitely try that. I have a lot to improve on my connection between forms.

Here are some gesture practices i did for this lesson! Critics and suggestions are welcome :D Reference photos are from pinterest
I think your work is pretty solid so far! Something I like doing and I may suggest you to try would be to mark the elbows and the kneecap position (Red lines) I personally find it very useful landmarks to keep general proportions and to show the limbs direction on your gesture drawings . Hope it helps!~

-Two minute poses assignment-
Im probably still overthinking while doing these. More often than not the photograph would change half way trough my sketch -Still- I think they are readable enough? as usual, critiques are welcome~

My first practice of mannequinization. I feel this drawing looks bad, but don’t know what makes it look bad🥲
Maybe I should have practiced the same pose as the examples to know what makes my drawing unbalanced.
I would be very happy if anyone gives me some critiques😭
Your first drawing with veronica kneeling looks pretty good! The head could be a bit bigger and the hands a tad smaller. The Second one looks a bit off-ish because the torso is too short (And the head a bit too big) Other than that everything looks fine to me -It just need more practice- I hope it helps~
