Hello! I chose to do the cover of the second book of the Trixie Belden series, The Red Trailer Mystery. It was first published in 1950, but my favourite cover was the editions republished in the 60s, called cameo editions because of the cameos of Trixie in the upper left corner. Mary Stevens did the original interior illustrations, so I included her along with the author on the cover. Trixie Belden books are also published under the name Kathryn Kenny, but Julie Campbell wrote the first 6 books. I chose colours based on the first cameo edition, as they're some of the first colours I think of when I think of Trixie Belden. I always feel a part of the Bob Whites when reading these books. They make you feel at home. I chose to illustrate Trixie and Honey spotting the orchard that's a part of the Smith farm. The Smith Farm and their old apple orchard are very important to the solving of the mystery! I hope you enjoy my cover! It was such a wonderful learning experience, perfect for where I'm at in my journey as an artist. This is completely traditional by the way!

"The God of Small Things is a family drama novel written by Indian writer Arundhati Roy. It is a story about the childhood experiences of fraternal twins whose lives are destroyed by the "Love Laws" . The novel explores how small, seemingly insignificant things shape people's behavior and their lives. The novel also explores the lingering effects of casteism in India." i am good with portrait but full illustration is my weak ponit. i was really sad with this result but my mom really likes this pic which erase all my embarrassment with this cover .... so happy me, please criticize me so that i can improve <3

This is a really nice wrap around cover design! I like your use of dappled light and textures! I don't really have much to criticise about your piece except I don't think you've placed your spine in the middle. I'm not sure how well the fonts in the title and author's name reflect the subject matter but I haven't read this book so it's difficult for me to tell. For the back cover I'm also not sure if you'd want to consider leaving empty space to place a blurb or book reviews. But overall your piece is quite interesting and a good illustration. Good luck!
