This is something i did a week ago before reaching this assignment, i tried to break the Alien into simple shapes (was some marvel comic cover) and then create poses and figures from imagination with the same building blocks. I know it’s not precisly the assignment, but i would love to hear any feedback if possible!

Level 2, this assignment felt like a visual Sudoku, and i forgot to think about the ens result and just wanted to solve the puzzle. Lots of fun!

awesome project, thanks to it I fell in love with these animals 🥹
what do you think about the shape and gesture? how can I improve it?
I think they look great! If something i’d try adding a little more roundness to the spine in the top left and bottom right pictures as they are lying on the ground. So that the straight line is on the belly side and the curve is on the back. Still they look very dynamic and bottom right is my favorite!

First six are with reference. The three on the other page are from imagination. Not sure if i hit the mark with the actual assignment as i tend to start adding details even when i’m not supposed to.
But i tried to make the animals as dynamic as i could!

This one was a fun assignment! The rooster just felt evil, and ended up looking like a turkey ’:D

Redid The VR girl and The spider hand with more loose hand after watching The demo. Sure the pictures were familiar from The first pass, but time i spent in drawing the second versions was but a fracture after i didn't try to copy every line and detail.

First try before watching demo. But i noticed that i was a little too "literal" with the VR girl and the hand, trying to copy the Image instead of capturing the likeness with just loose lines
