First six are with reference. The three on the other page are from imagination. Not sure if i hit the mark with the actual assignment as i tend to start adding details even when i’m not supposed to.
But i tried to make the animals as dynamic as i could!

These are looking great! You're definitely on the right track. Keep going with more explorations -- test out different shapes and proportions -- notice how the adjustments change the personality of the animals. The more quick sketches you can do for this assignment the better!

Your lines look great! Very gestural. You could try the envelope approach -- it takes a bit of thought and effort upfront but gives you a framework to more easily place your lines.
