Here’s my try for this one (first focusing on light, second on contour)

Thanks a lot, it's exactly what i needed to hear, I'm at this exact level of what you describe lvl 2 student I think, and I'm always feeling that I need to study more from observation, maybe also because it's easier to choose something and draw it than starting with a white piece of paper. Honestly I was going to skip this exercice, but even if the deadline for corrections is passes, I will try it seriously.

Hi, I try to keep the proportion as good as possible while stile using different kind of line, especially varying line weight. I finish by adding one shadow value because I had time to kill and it made me practice consistency on hatching. Also put the different step when I thought to take a picture of it 😅

Didn’t have more time before the deadline for the correction but I at least have the time to try one. The first picture is just a practice after the pencil video. Made it without smudging tools so it took times
