I just wanted to give level 2 project a try. It was fun but I still have to practice a lot
Martha Muniz
These are fun, nice job! Something that can help with this assignment is to further simplify the shapes into something you find easy to replicate or transform. For example, the head can be thought of as a simple cone shape, and you can use that idea to then stretch it or bend it around, It also makes it easier to imagine and then jot down what a cone would look like from different angles, which helps as you start constructing different poses from imagination.

It’s so tempting to fall into detail. I especially struggled with the camel, I was confused with its knees and nose. But such a fun exercise!

After watching the demo I realised that I completely misunderstood the assignment. I didn’t really concentrate on nice lines, I focused on getting the right shapes… let’s do it again then

I tried this 3 times. The first pic is before the demo. I took a good minute away from drawing daily. I went ahead and immediately tried a post demo but because of the more complex shapes I had a rough time. This morning with fresh eyes I tried once more after re-watching the demo again. Much happier with my shape finds and values. Shading seems to have improved as well. Proportions are still not where I want them to be, but I am satisfied with this progress

persistency is key, it looks so good!
