Another color pencil submission.
Eating wonky green apple :)
My self-portrait ft. my cat.
The first is kind of a meme but is a masterpiece and it's called you are being judged in oil pastels.
The second is just love and warmth made with color pencils.
:)
... and I don't like taking pics of myself but this is for the greatest good. This month is my bday so maybe I can have luck
Good luck to everyone!!

Asked for help
Almost 4 weeks of drawing gestures. I can see and feel the progress! Does anyone can give me some critics in my work or tips for more improvement?
This is from the ideas I had during today's stream!

I'm so excited for this! I have a question... should I attempt to create my own monster or create an pumpkin monster?
I'm a beginner for monster creation and don't know where to start.

Try capture the movement of the body and less focus on the forms of the contour. It also helps to not try to get a full figure done in the 2 minutes at first. Often I will just aim at getting the head shape, overall gesture of the pose via an action line and then build on that with the forms of the torso and sweeps of the upper limbs using CSI lines. If all I get done for the legs is one flow line to the ground and it looks balanced then success! Basically by slowing down we can do more good than if we blast through to try to finish the whole figure. I hope I made sense there. Good work and keep going!

Hi! The first two are from the pics in the lesson and the others are from my practice. But I think I'm still looking at the contours of the body and I don't know if I'm going right or if it's going to be a problem. To me they don't look fluid(?) But these are so much better then what I used to do before and I can see that with more progress they'll be to my satisfaction.
Any feedback is appreciated :)
Hello! Great attempts here, i think your figures can benefit from larger lines when describing the action. They seem to be segmented and i feel that's what's taking away the energy and flow of the figure. Also look at the figure as a whole and don't be afraid to push the lines a little more, using a single smooth line to describe it will help with the stiffness. I used to have the same issue with drawing the figure in parts.
I hope this helps a little, keep drawing! :)

Hi there! On the third image I like that flow line running from pit of the neck down through the leg. Do more of those types of flow lines. You're doing well just keep up with a daily practice of it. 10 minute daily would even do wonders to get the hang of it after a while. Also look for the balance of the pose by looking at the weight bearing foot in relation to the head.
