Giving it another go after a year or more - hoping the perspective in the drawing has improved.

It took me a while to even tackle the project but I ended up with this. Gotta be honest, I won’t do a second attempt after watching the demo. I opted to simplify spots where material was thicker by using thicker lines/black spots (like unter the sole).

Did a bunch in my sketchbook yesterday and today i switched to Procreate. It‘s a fun exercise and it’s really amazing to see how difficult it is to deliberately make them different, even when I’m telling myself to let loose and see what comes out. the ghosting feels more natural to me with regular pencil, I can tell I am just so used in digital erasing and cleaning up afterwards. Had to really restrain myself from doing so.
