I’m not very confident about placing the landmarks and measuring between then. I feel like I am adding some of them haphazardly. Also, feeling limited due to not having a very deep grasp on specifics of anatomy. Any and all critiques are welcome and much appreciated so I can adjust ASAP! Thank you :)
@rohitcharan
Drawings are good but please try to add little bit more gesture to them they look a bit stiff to me Try to make the curve little bit more curvier

Went in order for the first eight poses of the video. Took a little more than two minutes on each as I have a hard time getting my lines in the right place quickly. I would really appreciate any critiques/tips/pointing out anything I’m doing that’s throwing off the way any of these look :) thank you

Hi @Julie B. Nice drawing! There is a lot of good stuff going on ( I can really feel the movement in many of them). I'll try to look for things to help you further: - I think you would appreciate reading the critique I gave Bryan, under the headlines "SIMPLICITY" & "ASSYMETRY" (see attached screenshot & images) - Don't forget to practice 30 sec sketches aswell. They help you focus on the big picture. In your latest post (landmarks) I feel like the gesture was lost. Starting with some big picture gesture lines, can help you avoid that. A fun challenge that can help you with finding the big picture is to do 30 sec poses where you allow yourself to use only 5 (or fewer) lines (CSI) + head. (see attached image for inspiration) I hope this was helpful, and keep up the good work :) PS - I like to share these practice tips with people taking the Figure Drawing Course. Hopefully they can be of some help to you too: "-SOME PRACTICE TIPS: How you practice is as important, or even more important than what you practice. Here are some things that helped me improve faster: STAN´S EXAMPLES For me it was invaluable to look at Stan´s example drawings, following this routine 1. Try to draw the pose myself before looking at Stan´s example 2. Follow along with Stan and copy his way of drawing 3. Try to draw like Stan did, without looking at his example I did this over and over, varying up with other poses I found on the internet, trying to bring with me the habits I learned from Stan. DELIBERATE PRACTICE Another thing that was important for me was to be on the look out for things to improve. Improving was simply a long chain of - Doing a mistake - Finding the mistake - Trying to not make the same mistake in the next drawing "
