Impressive work! Just be careful of focusing too much on the details to where the lines are broken up into small sections, rather than long and flowing. It helps to start with the big picture first, getting in a light sketch of the largest sections, and adding in the smaller details afterwards.

My second attempt at the simplified pear. Used the 1st image for this one. I am a bit happier with this attempt 😊. I will attempt the portrait soon, should be challenging 😬

Many useful comments throughout this section. I tend to want to be a perfectionist. I need to slow down and learn to enjoy the process and realize sketching is essential and not meant to be perfect. This will be hard to overcome but is probably why I abandon my drawings so much.
