Here's some of the drawings I did after watching this first lesson. I am wondering if it is absolutely crucial to draw the motion of the center line down the torso, or if it suffices to merely draw the motion of the silhouette. The first picture is three iterations of Aaron006. There was improvement between my first and third attempt, but it still looks awkward. Criticism/tips would be appreciated!

I like how you simplified your gesture. Was your drawing session the 30 second gesture. I always struggle with keeping things simple. I have been using a drip pen to force me to use less lines.
No need to cry Kaylee. Give yourself some credit for tackling a very complex concept and practice. It does look like you got it. You persevered.

Are there any more pictures like the images you gave in the exercises , looking for more different angles and poses
Get the Skelly app. You can see the anatomical skeleton and the simplified shapes. You can switch between both views and you can pose the articulating joints and change angles with your finger on your phone to other devices. I think its about $6 bucks. Apple store or google play

I have been a Proko student for about 2 years. Ive since returned to find it a very different user experience. I'm gonna restart the anatomy for Artists. I have used may of the poses found in the extra poses downloads. I recommend buying the pack here are some examples of the poses I jacked

Hello this project took me a month to come up with. It’s an underwater gollum protecting the honor of a jelly fish lasso from those helpless romantic humans. Something is off with the final painting, but I don’t know exactly what? Any criticism is welcome.
I think your sketches for the creatures are amazing! Keep up the good work there. I think your finished scene is a little dark and hard to see the amazing intricate character of your creatures. Maybe lighten t up just a bit. Perhaps ad another subtle light source.
