”Hide and Seek” (a portrait in twain) For this challenge I decided to do two self-portraits in two days as one submission. Friday: 3.18.22 First portrait with beard and hair. … shave head… Sleep Saturday 3.19.22 Second portrait with bald head (mostly) This piece is about shedding old skin. My last hair cut prior to this was late 2019 and needless to say a lot has happened in my life in these last couple of years as it has for everyone. I felt now was the time for me to shift focus and look forward to new horizons. I’ve been wanting to do some self portraits, I’ve been wanting to shave my head and I’m a fan of Slew as judge as he has already been a self-portraiture inspiration of mine so this contest is already a win win win.
