Hey Josh would love to get some of your insight on these big boys iv'e done for kaijune - dodging linework and going direct to shape just using the lasso tool.

They look great! You did a great job Creating unique characters using the lasso tool techniques. Your mix of gradient's and textures for shading pushes the visual interest to 10. My only critique is to add a complimentary or tertiary color as a small accent to the brute and leech. Maybe adding some more smaller veins, to the leech, will push the creepy fleshy look even farther

This was a great Class on color. I've always been intimidated by painting in color from the start. now I'm feeling much more confident.
hey just to help here, im taking courses on brainstorm, and my experience of painting, i say that your colors are very too bright and too contrast. make sure to have a balance light areas and darks areas. also i don't if you use white to brighten your colors but use oranges and yellows to yellows are brighter in gray scale so use that. never use white to brighten something cuz it makes muddy and dull the colors.
