Hello everyone, so excited to be part of this community! It's my Day 1 of gesture drawing and I'd just like to share a compilation of some of my 30-second and 2-minute gesture drawings here. I'm still a beginner at this and I am hoping you could give me honest and constructive criticism for me to improve. :D Cheers!
Looks good. I would also draw another horizontal line for the hips, like you did with the collarbone/shoulders.
There are some mistakes, nice you asked for help.
It seems to me like you think of the torso like a unique box that shift a little in the bottom. You need to think of, or at least it is better, like two different boxes (in sizes and perspective relation-generally they will have different vanishing point) and these boxes have a limited relation in space thanks to the spine.
It will take some time to get to it if you aren´t able to draw the two boxes, but it is normal.
Look at the examples of proko in his lessons. You can simplify the rib cage, spine, and pelvis in just two boxes to get at their relation first. So try understanding first the perspective needed to it. And that is, practicing boxes in perspective. Study that, then come back to the robo bean and you will see difference. But again, fist improve your perspective understanding. That's what separate the "bean" exercise from the "robo-bean".
Hope it helps and keep it up!

Some studies I did using references from the comments section of the previous video in this course. Any feedback would be appreciated.

In some figures, I reckon you could have replaced two curves with just one (see attached image). But for a 30 second gesture drawing I think you did very well. The rhythm of the poses are clear.
