Few here, about 24hours worth. I very much need to do anatomy studies :D it's only when you take a photo, or come back to something I realise everything is in the wrong place lol. 🙃 Probably obvious to anyone whose been at it a while but I found this method so helpful, I never would have thought to find values or go heavy on the shading. Curious to know how long are we spending on lessons before moving on everyone too?

Hey everyone, what's the etiquette with uploading reference pics from eg Google images? Unrelated but attached pic is what I drew for my wife's birthday card. She's the dead looking squirrel with our youngest girl astride her :D

I really like the pose of your squirrel! Great job 👍 😁

You can just upload any reference image you have with your homework here. It you’re referencing a specific artist, you should include their names. And the squirrels are funny. The expressions are great.

Lv1 but did the portrait anyway. Overall....it looks alot like an old friend of mine and not alot like the subject :D

Soo got HB-6B pencils and it actually seems harder now! Tried a plant because it was infront of me& Instantly forgot everything I was supposed to be doing.. including taking a pic of the reference :) Proper paper for the portrait incoming.

From zero. Pre and post demo pear, on my breaks in work. Robbed a HB and some printer paper from the office :D Will try again with proper pencils

Finding time to draw at any point in the day is how you can make drawing sustainable over a long period of time. Make it a habit. This will serve you well. Break time at work is a great time to squeeze in some drawing time. These are looking great.
