The snail was pretty fun to do, I didn't add much detail to it. I attempted the shoes but it honestly felt too hard for me personally, it seems a bit advanced for someone who just started drawing? I am excited to learn tho!

This is my first pear and the start of my drawing journey, it was already quite challenging.
Starting is the first step so well done for that. I think the values of your shadows and lighter areas are too similar. Maybe you could try making your shadow areas much darker to create more contrast between your tones. Also, I think it would be good to break up your pear into even smaller shapes.
